I was able to be seated for dinner without a reservation. I was asked where I’m from and then was welcomed by a big cheer by all the staff! I loved how vibrant and friendly the atmosphere was! Every course was explained and the tempura was delicious! They really put on a cute show! Such a fun experience! It’s ended with a keepsake photo with one of the staff a truly delightful touch!

It was dinning experience in this restaurant despite we can’t late already after lunch time The staff here is excellent and super friendly. They are foreign workers in Japan from Philippines ???????? Tempura Omakase is very new to me/us. Normally omakase would sushi but this time we had tempura It costs less than yen 4000 per person with very good portion of food Amongst all tempura, the beef is super delicious. And the prawns are also very good too … At last the staff offered us photo session that he took a picture from the iPad and print it out for us that for sure it made the customers would never forget about this restaurant - good job I highly recommend this restaurant

This was such a magical dining experience! Not only was the food so delicious and well made, but the service was outstanding. The staff are so kind, joyful, and observant. The staff made the experience so entertaining. I had a smile on my face the entire time. I highly recommend if you’re craving tempura and are in Kyoto. Reservation isn’t required but I would recommend reserving just in case! I will definitely be dining here again whenever I return to Kyoto!

The dining experience in this restaurant is super fun (maybe not for introverts lol). The staff here is excellent and super friendly. Food is pretty good, though I expect a bit more tbh. Amongst all tempura, the beef is super delicious. And the prawns are also very good too. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had an amazing Omakase experience at Wagyu, Tempura Ten no Meshi in Kyoto! This place is a true hidden gem — elegant yet cozy, and every dish was prepared with incredible care and creativity. We ordered the Omakase Regular Course (¥7,150), which featured a perfect balance of flavors and textures from start to finish. Each course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious: - Mixed seafood tempura — light, crisp, and full of flavor - Salmon tempura topped with salmon roe — a creative and luxurious bite - Chicken tempura and shrimp tempura roll — comforting yet refined - Eggplant with miso glaze — rich and savory perfection - Wagyu rare tempura (lean cut) and Wagyu tempura with sukiyaki flavor — the stars of the show! Tender, juicy, and bursting with umami - Shrimp tempura rice bowl with egg — hearty and satisfying - And finally, the “Miraculous” sweet potato tempura with vanilla ice cream — the perfect ending! Every dish came out at just the right pace, and the chefs’ attention to detail was amazing. The tempura was light and never oily, allowing each ingredient’s flavor to shine. If you’re in Kyoto and looking for a memorable omakase tempura experience, this is the place to go. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back!
